Detangle your hair with aloe vera
Where to find aloe vera?
This plant with multiple virtues can be consumed but can also be applied all over the body, especially on small burns. Be careful if you are pregnant, it is not recommended to use it.
Easy to find, you will come across aloe vera leaves in the organic fruit and vegetable section of your supermarket. The price of a leaf is around €2. You can also get aloe vera in bottles, but the texture will not be ideal for our operation.
How to use aloe vera to detangle your hair easily?
What interests us to detangle our natural hair is above all the mucilaginous texture , that is to say sticky, of the pulp of aloe vera. It is also a very moisturizing plant for the hair , and which gives them shine thanks to its acidity close to that of the hair .
Small clarification : aloe vera gel can leave white residue in the hair if you do not rinse it well.
To create your aloe vera gel:
- Remove the skin from the stem
- Clean the pulp to remove the "aloin" (toxic and irritating yellow liquid)
- Mix the pulp
- Filter the pulp to obtain the smoothest gel possible and to facilitate rinsing.
You can store any gel you don't use in the freezer.
To detangle your hair with your fresh aloe vera gel:
- Apply generously to hair section by section
- Detangle starting at the ends
